  • What are the benefits of using Stellee?
    It can be challenging to stay updated on all the developments within the numerous projects we follow. This often involves being a part of multiple Discord or Telegram groups, following individuals on various platforms, and subscribing to newsletters. This can result in receiving excessive and irrelevant information, potentially causing us to miss out on valuable updates. And when it comes to monitoring our assets, it is even harder as we need to frequently check our wallets. Stellee offers a solution to these challenges by allowing you to receive configurable, real-time notifications directly to your mobile device, specifically for the events you have selected.
  • How does this respect my privacy as a Keplr/Leap/Metamask user?
    Subscribing to channels on Stellee does not require any personal information, such as a phone number, Discord or Telegram handle, or email address. Instead, the link is established using the unique ID of your device. Furthermore, for the convenience of those with multiple devices, Stellee offers the option to duplicate subscriptions on another device, ensuring that all devices are synced with an identical list of subscriptions. This approach is in line with the evolving standards of Web3, prioritizing user privacy and data protection.
  • How do the Public Subscriptions work?
    Our team has meticulously whitelisted public channels, ensuring that the content pushed through them is either retrieved on-chain, such as governance proposals, or published by the teams managing the chains, such as the Secret Network News & Announcements channel. Subscribing to a public channels simply requires scanning a QR code from the mobile device, or clicking a shortlink if visiting the website from a mobile device. The new channel will immediately appear in Stellee. A list of available channels can be found at https://stellee.highstakes.ch/channels.
  • How do the Private Subscriptions work?
    Private messages are specific to individual users, while messages published in public channels are distributed to all subscribers. These private messages are related to the wallet activity, such as transfers, delegated assets, and authorization grants such as REStake. To set up private messages on High Stakes' platform, visit https://app.highstakes.ch/notifications, connect your wallet, select your preferred network, and choose the alerts you want. Click "SHOW QR" and sign a message (not a transaction) to prove you own the wallet. Then, scan the QR code on Stellee to activate private messages. The list of available private messages will be gradually expanded. Among the next features will be the ability to be informed when a validator is jailed or changes his commission, when the pending rewards exceed a predefined threshold, etc.
  • Where and how do you store user configurations?
    Users are identified solely by their device ID, which is unique to each phone and not linked to any real-life identity. Furthermore, we do not require or store any personal information. The device ID is securely stored within a database hosted in Germany. Should you wish to have your device ID deleted, you can easily initiate the request by contacting us at gdpr@highstakes.ch, in full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) under European law.
  • How do wallet activity notifications work?
    The Stellee mobile app uses advanced technology to monitor blockchains for our users. We track specified addresses and send real-time push notifications for the events selected by the user (sending or receiving tokens, assets unbonded, ...). We're constantly adding new chains and new events to the supported list, so stay tuned for updates!
